The Analyst will be part of a team supporting the development and maintenance of highly technical computer processing systems that involve the fields of radio frequency (RF) communications, orbital mechanics, and digital signal processing (DSP).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will support operations of National level systems
Ensure timely delivery of mission critical data to numerous customers and partners
Ensure precision orbital information is analyzed and disseminated to multiple customers performing near real time missions
Provide maintenance support within a Linux environment for multiple scientific/engineering/RF/DSP production systems
Partner with the systems architects and senior developers to design and implement new product capabilities
Provide testing to ensure new features are validated prior to delivery
Will support the production of technical reports and briefings
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7 plus years of related experience.
Experience with Orbital mechanics
Experience with Linux and Linux environments
Experience supporting RF and DSP systems
Experience with Testing
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, data reduction and analysis
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
A Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, math, physics, or similar.
A Master’s degree in related field
Experience or Knowledge pertaining to atmospheric models, particularly ionospheric mitigation techniques
Experience with STK (Systems Tool Kit)
Experience with Technical reporting and briefing
