Job Description

CACI Enterprise IT Operations has an opportunity for a Network Security Analyst to support a large and complex IT enterprise program.
What you will get to do:
As a Network Security Analyst you will be part of the program's security monitoring and operations 24 x 7 support team.

More about your role:

  • Utilize network monitoring and management tools to recognize real or potential service quality issues on managed, proprietary networks over enterprise management, end user, and connectivity frameworks.
  • Evaluate the scope and severity of events/incidents.
  • Assess the current security status of the EIT at any point and ensure security controls [e.g., Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA)] are utilized appropriately to enable the customer to make informed decisions that mitigate risks to an acceptable level.
  • Enforce information assurance requirements to maintain an effective relationship with applicable customer governance organizations.
  • Ensure that modernization technologies comply with applicable security requirements.
  • Responsible for providing technical guidance focused on information security architecture.
  • Perform security research, analysis, and design for assigned client computing systems and the network infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the prevention, detection, investigation and response with respect to security threats and attacks.
  • Facilitates security vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  • Help plan configuration changes for major security infrastructure platforms.
  • Mission Assurance Support as required.


To be successful in this Role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and 5 to 7 years of experience.  Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Experience working with IT customers within the Department of Defense.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise IT contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT ticket management systems; preferably with ServiceNow.
  • Current TS/SCI poly clearance
  •  Security Certifications (Security+, Network+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent) is highly desired.
