Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

Provide configuration status accounting and integrated logistics support for all legacy, current and future Aegis Combat System (ACS) Baselines (BL) fielded at the Virginia Land Base Test and Training Sites (LBTTS).

More About the Role:

  • Establish and maintain accurate equipment configuration and logistics support data for ACS Baselines in accordance with NAVSEA Ship Configuration and Logistics Support Information System (SCLSIS) Technical Specification 9090-700 series and Virginia Sites Business Rules.
  • Maintain current and legacy BL configurations by processing Current Ship Maintenance Plan (CSMP) work file transactions, Configuration Change Worksheets (CCWs) and Notices of Completion (NOC).
  • Identify Technical Manuals (TM) for new equipment, and manage superseded and cancelled TMs
  • Identify Validation Candidates. Produce and deliver Validation Aids (VALAID); process data from incoming signed Validation aids into CDMD-OA.  Maintain and deliver monthly VALAID Status Report.
  • Evaluate and reconcile Automated Shore Interface (ASI) error reports.
  • Assess DD 250, DD149 and other equipment receipt documentation to establish equipment configuration records for configuration and maintenance worthy items in Configuration Data Management Database -Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
  • Review NAVSUP Monthly Cancelled and Superseded Record Identification Code (CASR) Report and update CDMD-OA
  • Document discrepancies, conflicting data, and request review and resolution from the Site POCs.
  • Manage CDMD-OA Class Functional File (CFF)
  • Maintain CDMD-OA transaction and work file statistics as required
  • Participate in Biweekly Sites IPTs

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ practical experience in Configuration Status Accounting and/or Integrated Logistics Support.
  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • Significant CDMD-OA experience.
  • Working knowledge of NAVSEA SCLSIS Tech Specification 9090-700 business rules and practices.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Technical Data Management Information Systems (TDMIS) experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • U.S. Navy Veteran with a minimum 7 years’ experience with CDMD-OA and TMDIS
