More About the Role:
Supports management of change in business functions for the senior staff (GS14+, O-5+) in the headquarters of a large organization (300 government and contracted staff in HQ) in the US Navy.
Responsible for contracting, finance, and personnel management to deliver better products faster to the warfighter, at a lower cost to the taxpayer.
Responsible for daily focus to engage with the PEO leadership, including at the Flag and SES level, and Directorate leadership and
listen to their challenges.
Identify and help the team to explore methods to address the concerns, and then facilitate the description of how the preferred method to address the challenge might be executed and assist
in the development of a draft charter that is used to garner support for the program.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
At least five years of experience in each of the following:
Service in or support to one or more DoD branches;
Work as the lead analyst on projects to help leaders define, implement, and measure change.
Bachelors Degree required.
Active Secret Clearance.
At least two years facilitating teams of leaders (GS14+, O-5+) to accomplish tasks.
Experience in the full lifecycle of a change initiative, including defining and measuring the challenge; selecting methods; assembling the task team and providing logistic support; defining barriers and solutions; researching and adapting best practices; managing rehearsals and pilot projects; developing specifications, and testing supportive tools (e.g., new or improved information systems, changes in personnel management practices); managing corporate roll-out; measuring results; managing workforce and stakeholder communications to gain buy-in.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with business modeling methods (e.g., process modeling, information modeling).
Change management credentials (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Capability Maturity Modeling).
Prior work in or in support of the US Navy Naval Sea Systems Command is preferable
