In support of the US Navy’s NAVSEA Headquarters Human Resources Office in Washington DC, the Human Resources Training Specialist will deliver HR related training
Based on customer requirements using a variety of techniques including face-to-face online, synchronous, asynchronous, and self-paced instruction
Training may also include employing blended learning techniques to include a combination of eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through work-related tasks
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in HR and training
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Document and maintain assigned projects, course materials, and job aids
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong customer service and attention to detail
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master’s Degree in Training, Instructional Design or HR
Instructional System Design experience
Research existing course content and propose new or updated course materials, which apply best practices and principles of adult learning
Experience working on customer site
Government HR preferred
Knowledge of Navy organizations, structure, and culture
Working knowledge of DOD structure
PHR or SPHR
