Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:
System Architect to support the Cyber Security Operations Center leveraging subject matter expertise in Cyber Security. In this role you will have the opportunity to design and develop new systems, applications, and solutions for customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks focusing on both external and internal threats.

More About the Role:

  • Ensure system security needs established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis.
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues.
  • Design and develop cyber solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, and network concerns.
  • Perform systems management and integration functions.
  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and all other cyber related.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or make recommendations to improve existing systems; review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Apply knowledge of enterprise IT needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensure these are consistent with the technical architecture.
  • Design and develop cyber security processes to include a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.

Other duties include:

  • Coordinate, review, and integrate the deliverables of information and technology architects into cohesive solutions architectures.
  • Design all data solutions in alignment with applicable policies, standards, and practices.
  • Provide creative and innovative architectural solutions to ill-defined requirements.
  • Review and assess impact of proposed scope changes to future architectures.
  • Work with senior business and technical personnel to deliver a robust scalable architecture that meets the business goals of the enterprise.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of National Insider Threat Policy and NISPOM.
  • Strong demonstration of skills in one or more cyber security related tools that encompass user activity monitoring, data loss prevention, security information and event management, analytic tools, and digital forensics.
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud services including Cloud Formation, EC2, ELB, S3 etc.
  • Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture, application integration technologies and approaches.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and/or Solaris operating environments.
  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.

    Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills.
