CACI is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Communications Support Analyst to Join our team.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for defining and developing business plans, processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, communication, and performance metrics.
Duties may include developing strategic plans and transition plans, conducting research and analyses of business practices, performing cost/benefit analyses, implementing process improvements; designing and implementing communication strategies and plans; and facilitating organizational change to improve organizational performance and service levels.
Individuals in this job family have regular interaction with clients.
Provides support to customer regarding National NC3 issues.
Evaluates communications systems performance and operations to provide a comprehensive strategic assessment. Attends various flag/SES sponsored working groups regarding Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications efforts as the task force subject matter expert on MR-TCDL, FAB-T, AEHF, PNVC, Commercial/Military satellite communications, and supporting terrestrial architecture.
Provides support and cost forecasting to support IP systems architecture to customer and higher authority. Schedules and facilitates various conferences in support of deputy for communications mission objectives.
Communications technical and communications budgeting policy planning to support the Deputy for Communications (N6), Deputy for Operations (N3), Deputy Wing Commander and Commodore.
Provide support by observing exercises and evaluating communications and operations issues and providing a comprehensive strategic assessment.
Provide support by scheduling/attending/facilitating various working groups as tasked by the command.
Provide support to the command to assess and relate to changing policy environment, organizational effectiveness and differences, diversified threats and evolving technologies that define the task force environment.
Possess a DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance upon commencing work, and shall obtain a DoD "TOP SECRET" with SCI access clearance within thirty (30) calendar days from the start of the period of performance.
Subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level, as noted in the attached DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications form (DD254), ("TOP SECRET").
Meet the minimum requirements outlined in the Secretary of the Navy Management Manual (SECNAVINST) 5510.30, SECNAVINST 5510.36 and Fleet Information Process Standards (FIPS).
Attend various Flag / SES level VTC and DCO meetings regarding National and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) issues for CTF 124.
Provide support to the N3 and N6 for various meetings and telephone conferences regarding National (NC3) issues.
Provide support and coordination to CTF 124, OPNAV N2/N6, and PMA 271 on the Acquisition/Planning Programming Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process.
Provide support and coordination to CTF 124, OPNAV N2/N6, and PMA 271 on Airborne Internet Protocol Networking issues and future plans.
Track commercial SATCOM budget and provide monthly status to CTF 124 and OPNAV N2/N6.
Provide rapid response turn-around on operational issues that required immediate dissemination to fleet operators.
Collect and analyze various report data in support of various operational objectives, exercises and assessments.
Prepare, publish and distribute the various periodic reports.
Schedule attendance for and facilitate various meetings and conferences to include Communications and Information Systems Working Group (CISWG).
Provide weekly training in support of Weapons Tactics Unit communications quarterly training requirement.
Recognized master in technical discipline.
Develops strategic goals and implements strategic initiatives in support of goals.
Establishes operational plans for job area.
Develops and implements new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
Significantly improves on existing processes and practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requires communication with executive leadership..
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of related work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills :
Knowledge of DoD NC3 system.
Knowledge of CJCS Vol VII procedures.
Knowledge of DoD/Navy and USSTRTACOM NC3 directives.
Proficient in Microsoft Access and Adobe Photoshop.
