What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. 
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. 
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions. 
  • Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. 
  • Ensures software standards are met. 
  • Provides engineering support for technical implementation of cyber solutions in conjunction with hardware product development, for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Conducts vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis and reverse engineering development of computer network operations tools.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager design; implantation and support along with integration with 3rd party systems Microsoft Unified Messaging and Microsoft Skype.
  • Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) – Cisco hardware and management tool experience.
  • Cisco Call Manager design and implantation  and operations experience with CER, UCCX,  and Jabber.
  • LAN/WAN networking equipment and protocols understanding.
  • Develop, support and maintain operations of Cisco voice communications including, SIP integration, moves, adds and changes, fault isolation &resolution, and end-user support.
  • Daily duties will include Project management and implantation for voice systems and services; responding to customer originated trouble tickets and service request along with planning and executing controlled changes within change control guidelines.
  • Provide support to IT project management teams in the design and deployment of new voice related technology systems to meet project team requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Cisco Voice Network infrastructure and best practices.
  • Technical experience and knowledge of SIP trunking design, implementation and support; Oracle Acme Session Border Controller (SBC) configuration, operational support and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for designing and building call center Automated Call Distribution (ACD) instances to support internal call centers.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures as well as data bases to documents site configurations and specifics.
