Job Description

CACI has an immediate opening for a clearable JIRA Systems Administrator in Jacksonville, FL or Chantilly, FL.

Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) program seeks an individual with strong technical and process background to maintain and enhance our teams’ JIRA environment. Work across all functional areas:  requirement, development, and test teams to assess needs, communicate changes, and generally improve process as we transition to a more agile methodology. The right person will be a key leader on our team, with lots of opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance Atlassian JIRA environment per customer requirements
    Install, configure and maintain Atlassian JIRA.
  • Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management concepts, Development workflow, Build and Deployment framework, Server Administration and Database Administration
  • Liaison with cross-functional teams (Development, Testing, Management, Business Analyst, etc.)
  • Promote adoption and best practices and conduct user-training and help-sessions for new features or implementations
  • Agile Project Management knowledge/experience
  • Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and fix issues related to development, applications, application servers
  • Recommend and set up Atlassian Plugins
  • Adhere to industry best practices, processes, and metrics standards
    Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system

Requires Knowledge of agile methodology
◦ Typically has a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
