Mid-Level Software Developer

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mid-Level Software Developer working on the CASPORT TTO to support Corporate Security Services.  New requirements are levied on CASPORT on a regular basis, and are dynamic in complexity.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

• Able to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to management
• Willing to take on a wide variety of complex tasking
• Experience with Java programming
• Experience with J2EE and JDBC
• Understanding of source code control systems
• Understanding of deploying web applications to application servers
• Understanding of tasks needed to be completed in order to productize a complex system
• Application Server expertise (BEA or JBoss at a minimum)
• PHP and Perl scripting experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience in the following areas is desired:

• LDAP expertise (RHDS)
• EJB development expertise
• JMS (Tibco) development expertise
• Identity Management
• Active Directory
• MIIS, KDC, ISA and Kerberos
• SecureID/PKI expertise

• Able to develop dynamic content using JDB and XSLT style sheets
• Portal / content management expertise

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
• 3 years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 7 years.
