CACI is seeking for an Acquisition Analyst to work in a Navy acquisition program office supporting Acquisition Category (ACAT) and Non ACAT programs of record developing acquisition related documentation.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Assist the Principal Acquisition Program Manager (PAPM), Deputy PAPM, and Assistant Program Manager (APM) with the execution of acquisition management and business management functions in support of ACAT and non ACAT programs.
Assist in the development and review of acquisition documentation and plans, ensuring adequacy, consistency, and compliance with administrative, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
Assist with tracking and resolving any action items pertaining to all facets of the acquisition lifecycle. Assemble minutes and briefs as required for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Assist with existing Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Process (PPBE) databases to develop, coordinate, track, report, and make appropriate analysis and recommendations to support government decisions on requirements, milestones, and progress.
Assist with the annual ACAT program and non-program of record reviews, P-form and or R-form coordination, smart charts, systems review requirements and coordination, program management reviews, “What if Drills”, Congressional Briefs, obligation and spend plans, and POM planning.
Apply quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues to assist with the development of risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving acquisition and program planning, control, and execution.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Requires BA or BS degree.
5+ years of experience with acquisition and program management support in a DoD program office.
Must have a current Secret Clearance.
Ability to work with senior military leaders, civilian and uniform, and coordinate across action officer level activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Highly organized and able to work to short time lines.
Possession of excellent oral and written skills.
Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MA or MS degree.
Completion of acquisition training, education, or certifications, including Defense Acquisition University, DAWIA Certification, or membership in the Acquisition Corps.
DAWIA Level I Certification in Program Management.
