The CACI Story

CACI was founded in 1962 by Herb Karr, a practical and visionary businessman, and Harry Markowitz, a programming genius. In a very short time these entrepreneurs went from doing business with a park bench for an office to launching a successful venture in the emerging computer industry.

Today, CACI is a $3.15B + company providing dynamic careers for more than 13,200 people working in over 120 offices worldwide. The Washington Business Journal 2010 "Book of Lists" named CACI the largest software developer in the national capital area as well as the eighth largest government contractor.
