Seven (7) or more years of direct digital forensics experience within the preceding 1 year, conducting examinations across a variety of hardware and software architectures, physical environments, and under time and other performance pressures.

Possession of a IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE)®, ISFCE Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)®, DFCB Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner (DFCP) OR equivalent certification.

Demonstrate basic digital forensic examiner competency by successfully completing a qualification test prior to starting digital evidence examination case work.

Demonstrate digital forensics examination proficiency on an annual basis

Demonstrated experience in the use of digital forensics tools and equipment (e.g., EnCase®, Forensic Toolkit®, Paraben Suite®, iXAM®, Cellebrite UFED, and Linux-based boot disks) and be able to articulate, in detail, the processes being conducted.

Demonstrated strong case management skills with the ability to multitask and manage several cases at any given time.

Description:

Duties and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily Tier 4 Windows Server and Exchange administration including user moves, account deletion, remote and virtual server builds, DHCP administration, DNS administration and troubleshooting network access. CACI has a requirement for a Test Engineer 3 at Wallops Island, VA supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NWSC PHD) Integrated Ship Defense (ISD) team. This team is providing Test and Evaluation support of the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) and its integrating sensors, TADILS and weapons systems at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Wallops Island, Virginia Land Based Test Facility (LBTF).

The Test Engineer is integrated in to the core test team in executing test plans and supports test team tasks such as test procedure development, review, verification and validation. The Test Engineer supports the Lead Test Engineer, Test Conductor and Test Director in the execution of test plans and procedures, observing test events, developing test observation reports/deficiencies, developing test procedures, providing on-the-job training to shipboard technicians and operators in conjunction with system changes and tests. May be required to prepare or support the preparation of papers and presentations. The test engineer will be expected to support configuring elements/systems of the combat systems, conduct safety walk-trough, hot and cold checks to support the execution of test scenario.

Under general supervision, performs various tests related to the testing of information technology products, equipment or systems. Defines test parameters, designs test, interprets test results and analyzes test trends. Investigates and analyzes unique or customer-related issues relating to test failure. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and all company departments to resolve technical and quality problems.


Required Qualifications:
- Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and four years of related SSDS combat system experience. Education equivalency for this position is one or more technical schools for one of the above systems, plus 3 years of related experience.
- Participants must have a thorough working knowledge of the SSDS combat system, peripherals devices, equipment interfaces, and system operations.
- The successful candidate must be a qualified SSDS Operator and knowledgeable in the following systems: SSDS MK 1/MK2, Q-70 enhanced radar and computer display, Electronic Warfare (EW), SPQ-9B, NSSMS, Evolved Sea Sparrow (ESSM), RAM GWCS, Tactical Information Coordinator (TIC), Air Defense Weapons Coordinator (ADWC), Tactical Action Officer (TAO).
