Project Managers are generally responsible for more than one active case at a time; extremely large or active cases may require more than one Project Manager.  When operating out of a client site, the Project Manager's work may be subject to coordination or direction by a Lead Project Manager.<br/><br/>Primary duties include:<br/>- Serve as the client's primary point of contact including frequent coordination with the COTR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, and occasionally opposing counsel.<br/>- Responsible for planning and managing all support for the case including monitoring work flow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, budget development, trial and courtroom support, trial presentation, coordinating technical/data processing support, working with external vendors and sub-contractors, and obtaining other required resources.<br/>- Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work is delivered on time.  Ensures that proper security is maintained over all project materials in accordance with established procedures and applicable court orders.<br/>- Contributes to best practice and resource material development to be used for reference and training purposes.<br/>- Participates in hiring staff and managing litigation personnel on discovery and trial efforts.<br/>- Coordinates with other internal divisions.<br/>Qualifications:<br/>At least four years of progressive supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects.  Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities.  Requires expert knowledge of litigation support, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and excellent management skills.  Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs, develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs.  Requires broad knowledge of data processing environments, including Microsoft Office products, PC-based databases and other applications (i.e. ORACLE, Acrobat, Concordance, and Summation).  Technically proficient and able to meet Federal e-discovery requirements.  Working knowledge of FTP and other electronic file distribution programs.  Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.  Law degree (JD), MBA or other pertinent graduate degree very helpful.  Ability to travel strongly preferred.  Job may require travel to New Orleans, and other locations in the (CONUS) Continental United States.
