Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a logistician, providing all acquisition logistics support functions (i.e., planning, development, implementation and management of support concepts and strategies) for programs within the JPEO-CBD portfolio. Using performance-based logistics, the offeror shall plan and develop effective product support strategies, ensuring they meet established goals for operational effectiveness and readiness. The offeror shall manage, as required, review and comment on Contractor technical manuals, validation efforts, provisioning data, training packages and other logistics-related deliverables. The offeror shall determine level of maintenance, review system parts lists and make recommendations on the table of allowance. Perform other tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

Lead the IPT on all multi-service support issues
Lead the Government team during Contractor logistics support review sessions
Monitor supportability requirements in relation to the established requirements for cost, schedule and performance
Ensure integration of all support elements to maximize system deployability, supportability and mobility
Develop fielding plans and logistics demonstration plans and coordinate them with stakeholders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in Logistics, Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline, is required.
A combination of an Associate’s Degree or Professional Certificate in Logistics, Engineering, or Business Management and seven (7) years of general experience with five (5) years of experience in a program office or similar organization can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

Desired Qualifications:

Five (5) years of general experience with three (3) years of experience in a program office or similar organization.
DAU Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics, or the civilian equivalent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.

In this role, under minimal direction, you will formulate and define system scope and objectives; and establish procedures to solve complex problems regarding system equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and output. You could expect to be asked to prepare detailed specifications related to the TRIRIGA deployed solution and perform TRIRIGA administrative functions; and provide guidance to less experienced analyst/programmers and service desk technicians.

Typical responsibilities in this role would include:

Formulate and develop detailed specifications, code, documentation and related customer information required to complete program development maintenance activities; prepare program logic flow charts and processing diagrams provide service desk subject matter expert

Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects

Prepare detailed specifications for the TRIRIGA application

Analyze, code, test and document complex programs

Create and/ or modify complex programs to meet user requirements (This includes testing program and system changes)

Analyze and document existing application systems to determine processing requirements

Confer with project manager and representatives of departments affected by the program to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, extent of automatic programming and coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal checks and controls

Identify and design applications system alternatives to achieve the needs of the customer's environment

Prepare documentation and related information

Test and correct program errors by altering program steps and sequence

Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

Identify problem areas and recommend solutions and standards

Some travel may be required


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent, and at least 5 years of related experience

Experience with TRIRIGA or ERP/COTS Systems and Web Based Platforms

Ability to travel, if needed (Up to 10% of time may require travel both within the US and overseas)

Normal demands associated with an office environment: Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face
