CACI has a requirement for a part time Lead Mechanical Engineer in New Albany, IN to support the Navy Picatinny Detachment Code G3 Gun Division Projects. Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate will support various inspections and assessments such as Diesel Inspections, Gas Turbine Inspections, Damage Control, Deck, Boiler Inspections for the Engineering Readiness Assessment Team (ERAT) Program on various U.S. Navy Ships home ported on the West Coast and Western Pacific. The ERAT Program consists of assessment teams which go onboard U.S. Navy ship's to help prepare the ship crew for their light off exams following a shipyard period or prepare the ship for INSURV by identifying equipment discrepancies, documenting results, and ordering parts for repairs, provide training to ship crew members such as casualty operations drills, RAS, Anchoring, Deck, FAST, mass comflag drills using Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS), etc. In addition, candidate will perform assessment/inspections for Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and Combat Systems Equipment onboard Navy ships when the ship is participating in a TSRA visit and will document discrepancies, identify parts needed for replacement, and order parts for repairs to Navy equipment.

Ideal candidate should possess extensive Navy experience associated with the ERAT Program performing inspections and assessments or providing training to crew members onboard Navy ships. Master Training Specialists is a plus. Candidate should be familiar with Engineering Operational Sequencing Systems (EOSS) or Combat Systems Operational Sequencing Systems (CSOSS). FAST or RAS experience, Anchoring and well deck experience. Experience in the Navy Afloat Training Group, Previous Navy assignment at Navy Regional Maintenance Center as Subject Matter Expert with a certification working on shipboard equipment such as Hull, Mechanical, Electrical equipment. Certified Inspector for Boilers, Gas Turbines, Deck experience, Damage Control is a plus.


Required Qualifications:

US Citizenship with Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client which is typically a Secret Clearance.
This position requires Navy experience as a previous senior Enlisted or subject matter expert with Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) qualifications, Combat Systems Officer of the Watch (CSOOW), Navy "C" School for Boiler Inspection Certification, Gas Turbines Certification, 3M Coordinator experience, Damage Control or subject matter expert (SME) with Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, Mechanical, Deck Equipment, RAS, FAST, Anchoring, small boats, UNREP, Engineering Consoles experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in Narrowband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems. Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI has a near-term opening for an Engineering Technician to support the Deep Submergence Systems Program (DSSP) Office of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) efforts in Kittery, Maine.

This individual will support the Submarine Rescue and Diving Recompression System (SRDRS), as well as the ADS 2000, SRS, Pressurized Rescue Module System (PRMS), the Atmospheric Diving System (ADS 2000) Launch and Recovery System and their related Support Equipment and the Escape and Immersion Equipment (SEIE) suit. All work is in support of Code 205/206 DSSP Office engineering projects.


Required Qualifications:

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three years of related engineering technician experience. Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree is preferred. Other required qualifications include:
- Person with experience in marine design
- Experience with submersible mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of US Navy Shipyard standards
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
