Project/Contract Details: This is a long-term contract with over 100 positions. Apply to this position if you are looking for a contract that can provide you multiple assignments over the course of your career.
As our Intelligence Operation Specialist you will have the opportunity to deploy to forward operating bases for 90day TDY(s) supporting communications to include tactical, network, secure voice and data communications. You will also provide team leadership to less experienced communications engineers and assist in internal training programs.
Work Location/Travel: Candidate is expected to complete 2 - 90 day TDY(s) annually. (including hazardous sites)
- 90 day TDYs. (estimated at 2 TDYs each year)
- War zones and danger pay. Work up to 14 hours per day.
Experience & Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine of related experience with functional roles above.
- Must have current clearance and access level as required by the customer (Top Secret/SCI with POLY+ )
- 5 or more years of direct experience with sponsor traditional and tactical communications projects and design.
- Management of LAN's.
- SATCOM experience.
- Understanding of a Communication Center.
- Familiarity of ICOM/Motorola/Harris/PRC equipment and its use.
- Direct experience with sponsor's systems and message preparation.
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and management communications security systems including cryptographic equipment and accounts.
- Ability to manage accountable property.
- Ability to independently resolve most field/base infrastructure issues.
- Ability to give details to both technical and non-technical audiences..
- Ability to adhere to security and safety standards, counter-intelligence and applicable communications policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of procurement processes.
- Ability to test, identify, and resolve most tier 1 and tier 2 equipment and system problems.
- Willingness to perform extended TDYs in dangerous/Hostile environment.
- Ability to be medically and administratively cleared for international travel.
- Ability to successfully qualify for weapons training.
- TDY experience with sponsor AGENCY as a IT systems administrator or similar roles.
- Certifications and training for war zones, including fire arms, trauma, others.

This person, with guidance from other senior engineer(s), will:
• Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with CACI policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements.
• Originate specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of design and development activities.
• Prepare material and conduct periodic design reviews.
• Execute engineering design and development activities consistent with customer quality, cost and schedule requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other duties as required by more senior engineer(s), Project Engineer or Program Manager.


Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years minimum Primary and Secondary Structures Engineering Aircraft Industry experience.
• 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Must be AutoCAD 2004 and Solidworks proficient and able to create the following types of drawings:
• Aircraft Detail Parts Fabrication drawings.
• Aircraft Parts Assembly drawings.
• Aircraft Part/Assembly Installation drawings.
• Aircraft Structural Repair drawings.
• Solid Works 3 Dimensional Modeling experience.
• NASTRAN or COSMOS Works Finite Element Modeling (FEM) experience a plus.
• Ability to create/revise aircraft technical documents.
. Ability to perform basic aircraft structural/ Stress Analysis.
• Previous experience and familiarity with FAR part 21, 23, 25 fixed wing requirements.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 27 and 29 (ROTOWING) a plus.
. Previous experience and familiarity with the STC process.
• Ability to work together with planning and shop personnel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated individual.
