Description

Opportunity:
As an emerging expert, evaluates, designs, documents, installs, implements, tests, performs problem isolation and resolution, monitors, tunes, and sets standards. Plans and coordinates the installation of tactical communications infrastructures. Researches, evaluates, and recommends tactical communications equipment and technologies. Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Provide team leadership to less experienced communications engineers. Assists in internal training programs. As the Tactical Communications Specialist you will work with PRC-148, PRC-152, PRC117 and RF-5800 radios. You will gather requirements from forward locations, formulate the plan, order equipment and lead the installation.

Work Location/Travel: Candidate is expected to travel sixty percent of the time to overseas locations.

Required: Experience with functional roles above. Top Secret/SCI with lifestyle polygraph.

Must have a MINIUMUM of 5 years installing Motorola Radio Networks

Must have a MINIUMUM of 5 years of tactical communications experience

Education/Yrs of Experience: Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent, 7-9 years of work experience and a minimum of 5 years of tactical communications experience.
