Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI has contingent openings for a TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR/COURSE DEVELOPER to support C4ISR Training efforts undertaken by SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC) in San Diego, CA.
Specific duties to include the following:
- Serve as the technical training specialist for new and/or modified systems, subsystems, and support systems during developmental test, production training development, transition training, and courseware revision and maintenance.
- Serve as the Instructor for Domestic and/or FMS Programs.
- Design, develop and present training curricula for identified weapon systems in accordance with applicable specifications, standards and instructions.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed an approved military instructor training program. Awarded the Naval Officer Billet Code (NOBC), Naval Enlisted Classification (NEC) (or closely related NEC) or other military occupational code for that system .
- Ten years of operational experience in the field required for operational support, and should have been officially designated as qualified in that position with the NOBC or NEC for which the individual is being proposed.
- Three years of recent experience (within the last six years) in the instruction of and development of training materials directly related to the system area for which the individual is being proposed. The instruction and development experience may have been gained concurrent with the operational experience directly related to the NOBC, NEC or other military occupational code.
Able to obtain a DoD SECRET Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/BS is a plus.
- Recent experience with SPAWAR or SSCPAC.

CACI has a contingent opening for a Designer/ Illustrator 2 to support C4ISR Training efforts undertaken by SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC) in San Diego, CA.
The Designer/ Illustrator 2 will:
- Develop, draft, revise and edit training materials, Tactical Manuals, Publications, Maintenance Manuals and other technical documents.
- Scan images and develop basic graphics and line art rendering utilizing commercial off-the-shelf software such as Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop using rough outlines, resource materials, and independent interpretation of information obtained through review conferences and/or technical specialists.
- Apply working knowledge of DOD terminology, platforms, sensors, weapons, and other equipment, and prepare, edit, and publish technical documentation.
- Apply working knowledge of the various styles and formats for DOD technical manuals and automated publishing systems to the production of technical manuals and other large publications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS required with 2-4 years technical documentation experience.
- Four years experience in writing/editing technical documents, of which one year of recent experience (within the past five years) in writing/editing operator or maintenance technical data utilizing an automated publishing system.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Past experience working on DoD projects.
