CACI is seeking experienced professionals to support the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) in the DC Metro area.
US-CERT is a partnership between the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the public and private sectors, charged with coordinating the country's response to cybersecurity threats and attacks. It serves as the Federal Incident Management Center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, releasing information about current security issues, vulnerabilities, and exploits via the National Cyber Alert System and working with software vendors to create patches for security vulnerabilities.
Candidates will assess suspected cyber threats, formulate communications about them, and interact with cyber security specialists at other agencies. Shift work is required.
All positions require DHS suitability, which is typically achievable by candidates who possess one of the following:
- An active TS/SCI or TS security clearance, plus SCI eligibility with an SSBI less than two years old
- Existing DHS suitability
